Nano zinc oxide

Our major product is nano zinc oxide which is a white or light yellow powder; odorless, non-toxic. Relative density: 2.00-3.00, m.p.: 1970°C, soluble in acids, alkali and ammonium chloride. It is amphoteric oxide, and can absorb water and carbon dioxide in the air to generate zinc carbonate which is yellow. It will turn yellow when heated and back to white after cooling. It is not penetrable for ultra violet, will not turn black with exposure to sulfureted hydrogen. Due to its tiny size and large specific surface, nano zinc oxide generates surface effect, small size effect and quantum tunneling effect, and thus is widely used in magnet, light, electricity etc.

In rubber industry, nano zinc oxide is used as vulcanizing activator and colorant for natural rubbers, synthetic rubbers and latex. It can improve the curing speed and tearing strength of rubbers; prevent aging, increase the hardness and tensile-strength of rubber, improve the surface quality of rubber products. Its use level is only 50-70% of common zinc oxide (99.7%). For special ceramic industry, nano zinc oxide can be used as raw material for soft magnetic ferrite, and is used for the manufacture of voltage dependent resistors and self-cleaning ceramics, lower sintering temperature.

For cosmetic and textiles industry, nano zinc oxide is antibacterial and deodoring, resistant to ultra violet. It has been also widely used for anti-static materials, wave-absorbing materials, electronic laser materials, magnetic materials and catalysts.
